Long black-and-gold metal drill bit made of HSS M2 high-speed steel, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill conforms to the DIN 340 standard. Cylindrical shank.

The drill is intended for making both through and blind holes. It features two central cutting edges ground at a 135° angle and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward out of the hole.

The TiN-coated drill is especially intended for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a higher drill hardness, allows faster cutting and provides better quality of the machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing friction, decreases cutting-edge wear and thus extends the drill's service life.

The drill is packaged in a blister pack with a hole for hanging.
