Extended black-and-gold metal drill made of high-speed steel M2 HSS, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill conforms to the DIN 340 standard. Shank: cylindrical.

The drill is intended for making through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at 135° and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward out of the hole.

The TiN-coated drill is particularly intended for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a higher drill hardness, allows faster cutting processes and helps achieve better quality of machined parts. The titanium nitride layer reduces friction, decreases cutting-edge wear and thereby extends the drill's service life.

The drill is packaged in a blister pack with a hole for hanging on a hook.
