The combination spanner is made of extremely durable CRV tool steel, cold die-forged. The spanner undergoes a careful heat treatment process. Hardened in a vacuum furnace and oil-quenched, which prevents burning and scorching on the surface of the spanner. It is then tempered at the appropriate temperature, which reduces stresses formed during hardening, resulting in significantly greater bending strength of the spanner.

Excellent corrosion protection by nickel plating and a matte satin coating.

Flat open end angled at 15° and ring end offset by 15° facilitate maneuvering the spanner and loosening fasteners in hard-to-reach places.
