Device for checking timing belt tension

Tool description:

The tool is used for quick checking of timing belt tension. It is a universal device that allows measurement of belts of different width and thickness where a belt deflection [mm] under a specified load [N] is given. Such information is provided by vehicle manufacturers or is available in specialist literature (e.g. AUTODATA).

The gauge has two scales: the larger scale on the gauge corresponds to the larger scale on the dial, and the smaller scale on the gauge corresponds to the smaller scale on the dial.

1. The rotary knob is used to set the desired load; the scale on the gauge corresponds to the units, and the scale on the dial to the decimal fractions.
