Extended black-and-gold metal drill made of M2 HSS high-speed steel, coated with a TiN (titanium nitride) coating. The drill complies with the DIN 340 standard. Cylindrical shank.

The drill is intended for making through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at a 135° angle and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward out of the hole.

The TiN-coated drill is particularly intended for machining hard-to-cut materials. The use of the TiN coating results in an increase in the drill's hardness, allows accelerating the cutting process, and enables achieving better quality of the machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing friction, decreases cutting-edge wear, thereby extending the drill's service life.

The drill is packed in a blister with a hole for hanging on a hook.
