The drill is intended for creating through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at a 135° angle and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward out of the hole.

The TiN-coated drill is intended particularly for machining difficult-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a increase in drill hardness, enables faster cutting and allows for improved quality of the machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing the frictional force, decreases cutting-edge wear, thereby extending the drill's service life.

The drill is packaged in a blister with a hole for hanging on a peg.
