Long black-and-gold extended metal drill bit made of HSS M2 high-speed steel, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill is compliant with DIN 340. Cylindrical shank.

The drill bit is intended for making through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at 135° and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward from the hole.

The TiN-coated drill bit is particularly intended for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a increase in drill hardness, allows acceleration of the cutting process and enables better surface quality of machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing friction, decreases cutting-edge wear, and consequently extends the drill bit's service life.

The drill bit is packed in a blister pack with a hole for hanging.
