Extended black-and-gold metal drill bit made of M2 HSS high-speed steel, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill bit conforms to DIN 340. Cylindrical shank.

The drill bit is intended for making through and blind holes. It features two central cutting edges ground at a 135° angle and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upwards from the hole.

TiN-coated drill bit is especially intended for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a increase in drill hardness, allows acceleration of the cutting process, and helps achieve better quality of the machined parts. The titanium nitride layer reduces friction, decreasing wear of the cutting edge and thereby extends the drill’s service life.

The drill bit is packed in a blister pack with a hole for hanging on a peg.
