Extended black-and-gold metal drill made of M2 HSS high-speed steel, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill complies with DIN 340. Cylindrical shank.

The drill is intended for drilling through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at an angle of 135° and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward out of the hole.

The TiN-coated drill is intended in particular for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a higher drill hardness, allows faster cutting and enables better surface quality of machined parts. The titanium nitride layer reduces friction and decreases cutting-edge wear, thereby extending the drill life.

The drill is packed in a blister pack with a hanging hole.
