Long black-and-gold drill for metal made of HSS M2 high-speed steel, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). Drill compliant with DIN 340. Cylindrical shank.

The drill is intended for making through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at a 135° angle and flutes that effectively evacuate chips up the hole.

Drill coated with a TiN layer is intended particularly for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a increase in drill hardness, allows acceleration of the cutting process and helps obtain better quality of machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing friction force, decreases tool wear, thereby extending the drill's service life.

The drill is packed in a blister with a hanging hole.
