Extended black-and-gold metal drill made of M2 HSS high-speed steel, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill complies with DIN 340. Cylindrical shank.

The drill is intended for drilling through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at a 135° angle and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward from the hole.

The TiN-coated drill is especially intended for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a increase in drill hardness, allows acceleration of the cutting process and enables better quality of machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing friction, decreases cutting-edge wear, thereby extending the drill's service life.

The drill is packaged in a blister pack with a hole for hanging on a peg.
