Extended black-and-gold metal drill for metal made of HSS M2 high-speed steel, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill complies with the DIN 340 standard. Cylindrical shank.

The drill is intended for drilling both through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at 135° and flutes that effectively evacuate chips up the hole.

Drill coated with a TiN layer is particularly intended for machining difficult-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a increase in drill hardness, allows speeding up the cutting process and improves the quality of machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing frictional force, reduces wear of the cutting edge and thus extends the tool life.

The drill is packed in a blister with a hole for hanging on a peg.
