Long black-and-gold metal drill bit made of M2 HSS high-speed steel, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill complies with DIN 340. Cylindrical shank.

The drill is intended for drilling through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground to 135° and flutes that efficiently evacuate chips upward out of the hole.

The TiN-coated drill is particularly suitable for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a increase in drill hardness, enables faster cutting and helps achieve better quality of the machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing friction, decreases cutting-edge wear and thereby extends the drill's service life.

The drill is packed in a blister with a hole for hanging on a peg.
