Extended black-and-gold metal drill bit made of M2 HSS high-speed steel, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill bit complies with the DIN 340 standard. Cylindrical shank.

The drill bit is intended for drilling through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at a 135° angle and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward from the hole.

The TiN-coated drill bit is particularly intended for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a higher drill hardness, allows for increased cutting speeds and improves the quality of the machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing friction, decreases edge wear and thus extends the drill's service life.

The drill bit is packaged in a blister pack with a hole for hanging on a peg.
