Gold-black reduced-shank metal drill bit made of high-speed steel 4341 HSS, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill bit complies with DIN 338. Cylindrical, reduced shank allows using a drill of a larger diameter than the drill chuck range.

The drill is intended for drilling through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at 135° and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward out of the hole.

Drills coated with TiN are particularly intended for machining difficult-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a increase in drill hardness, allows speeding up the cutting process and helps achieve better quality of machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing friction, decreases cutting-edge wear and thus extends the drill's service life.

The drill is packaged in a plastic container with a hole for hanging on a hook.
