Rolled black & gold metal drill bit made of high-speed steel 4341 HSS, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill complies with DIN 338. Cylindrical, rolled shank, which allows using a drill bit with a larger diameter than the drill chuck range.

The drill is intended for making through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at an angle of 135° and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward from the hole.

Drill coated with a TiN layer is particularly intended for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in increased drill hardness, enables faster cutting and allows achieving better quality of machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing friction, decreases wear of the cutting edge, and thus extends the life of the drill.

The drill is packed in a plastic container with a hole for hanging on a peg.
