Drill bit for metal, black-gold, turned down made of 4341 HSS high-speed steel, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill bit complies with DIN 338. Cylindrical shank, turned down, which allows using the drill bit with a larger diameter than the drill chuck range.

The drill bit is intended for making through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at 135° and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward from the hole.

Drill bits coated with a TiN layer are particularly intended for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a increase in drill hardness, allows speeding up the cutting process and enables better quality of machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing frictional force, reduces wear of the cutting edge, and consequently extends the drill bit's service life.

The drill bit is packed in a plastic container with a hole for hanging.
