Drill for metal, black-and-gold, reduced shank made of high-speed steel 4341 HSS, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill is compliant with the DIN 338 standard. Cylindrical shank, reduced (turned-down), which allows use of the drill with a diameter larger than the drill chuck capacity.

The drill is intended for making through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at 135° and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward from the hole.

The TiN-coated drill is intended especially for machining difficult-to-cut materials. Use of the TiN coating results in a increase in drill hardness, allows acceleration of the cutting process and helps to achieve better quality of machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing friction, decreases cutting-edge wear and thereby extends the drill's service life.

The drill is packed in a plastic container with a hole for hanging.
