Rolled black & gold metal twist drill bit made of HSS 4341 high-speed steel, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill complies with the DIN 338 standard. Cylindrical, reduced (turned-down) shank allows using a drill with a larger diameter than the range of the drill chuck.

The drill is intended for making through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at a 135° angle and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward from the hole.

The drill bit coated with TiN is especially intended for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating increases the hardness of the drill, enables faster cutting, and improves the surface quality of machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing friction, decreases cutting-edge wear and thereby extends the tool life.

The drill is packaged in a plastic container with a hole for hanging on a hook.
