Drill bits intended for making through and blind holes. They have two central cutting edges ground at 135° and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward from the hole.

TiN-coated drill bits are especially intended for machining difficult-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a increase in drill hardness, allows faster cutting and produces better finish on machined parts. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing friction, reduces cutting-edge wear, and thereby extends drill life.
