Black & gold metal drill bits made of 4341 HSS high-speed steel, coated with a TiN (titanium nitride) layer. Drill bits comply with DIN 338. Cylindrical shank.

Drill bits are intended for making through and blind holes. They have two central cutting edges ground at 135° and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward from the hole.

TiN-coated drill bits are especially intended for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating results in a increase in drill hardness, allows faster cutting and improves the quality of machined parts. The titanium nitride layer reduces friction, decreasing cutting-edge wear and thereby extends the drill's service life.
