Black-and-gold metal drill bit for metal made of high-speed steel 4341 HSS, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). Drills comply with DIN 338. Cylindrical shank.

Drills are intended for drilling through and blind holes. They have two central cutting edges ground at an angle of 135° and flutes that effectively evacuate chips upward from the hole.

Drills coated with a TiN layer are particularly intended for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating increases the drill hardness, allows acceleration of the cutting process and provides better quality of the machined parts. The titanium nitride layer reduces friction force, decreases cutting-edge wear, and therefore extends the drill life.

Drills are packed in a plastic container with a hole for hanging on a peg.
