Overview
The BLACK 37417 model is an inverter welder designed with efficient IGBT transistors. ► MMA welding with coated electrodes (Manual Metal Arc). - Uses coated electrodes. - Does not require shielding gas. - The simplest method, suitable for structural steel and fieldwork. ► MIG semi-automatic welding with shielding gas (Metal Inert Gas / Metal Active Gas). CO₂ 100% for welding carbon steels, Ar 80% + CO₂ 20% mixture for low-alloy steels (provides better arc and less spatter). ► FLUX welding with self-shielded wire (without gas). - Ideal for outdoor work where wind could blow away shielding gas. ► LIFT TIG TIG welding with touch ignition (Lift TIG). - Suitable for precise welding of stainless steel and thin sheets. ► "2T" This refers to the operating mode of the MIG/TIG torch button (2-touch mode or 2T mode). - 2T (Two Touch / 2-stroke) Press the button → the arc ignites. At the highest ARC FORCE setting, it is possible to "push the electrode into the molten metal pool and burn through the material." In this model, ARC FORCE is adjusted automatically. Operating at the maximum current of 250A requires protection of at least 20A. The device efficiency is as high as 60%.
