The combination spanner is made of extremely durable cold-forged CRV tool steel. The spanner undergoes a careful heat treatment process. Hardened in a vacuum furnace and quenched in oil, which prevents the formation of decarburization and burning on the spanner surface. It is then tempered at the appropriate temperature, which reduces stresses formed during hardening, and consequently significantly increases the spanner's bending strength.

Excellent corrosion protection by nickel plating and a matte satin coating.

Flat open end set at 15° and box end offset by 15° make it easier to maneuver the spanner and loosen fasteners in hard-to-reach places.
