VAG EA211 1.0 1.2 1.4 TSI TFSI TGI timing lock

Professional kit for servicing the timing of VAG petrol engines from the EA211 family. Intended for units 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4 TSI/TFSI, and for appropriate engine codes also TGI versions. The kit allows locking and setting the crankshaft and camshafts, adjusting the belt tensioner, and holding pulleys during disassembly and assembly.

The comprehensive set also includes tools used on 1.4 TSI/TFSI engines with the ACT/COD system.

Application

The set is intended for VAG group vehicles: Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda and SEAT, equipped with belt-driven engines of the EA211 family.

Set components and their use

Camshaft setting tool

Used for precise positioning and immobilisation of the camshaft in the required position during service operations.

Camshaft setting tool

A second black profiled lock, it works with the appropriate camshaft and allows maintaining correct valve timing positions.

Crankshaft locking pin

The threaded pin is used to secure the crankshaft in the required service position, preventing it from rotating during timing procedures.

Timing belt installation tool

The tool with a T-handle is used to press the timing belt between the shafts, facilitating correct installation of the camshaft locks.

Camshaft sprocket lock

The red profiled element is used to secure the camshaft sprocket in the correct position.

Tensioner adjustment wrench

Long wrench with a profiled eye is used for adjusting the timing belt tensioner, enabling correct belt tension.

Crankshaft pulley holding tool

Tool with a ring end. Used to hold the crankshaft pulley while loosening and tightening its retaining bolt.

Adjustable two-pin holding tool

Long tool with two pins and a handle, used to securely hold the appropriate pulley during assembly work.
