When welding, it is important to be able to observe the work area before the arc strikes, effectively limit intense light during welding and quickly return to work after it has been extinguished. GEKO G01882 auto-darkening goggles automate this process – the filter remains in a light state DIN 4, and upon detecting the arc switches to the set darkening level in the range DIN 5–13.

With adjustment of shade, sensitivity and delay time the user can adapt the filter’s operation to the type of work and ambient conditions. The goggles’ design leaves both hands free, and the WELD / CUT / GRIND modes allow using a single shield during different stages of metalworking.
