Timing lock for Opel/Vauxhall 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4 Turbo

Professional kit intended for precise positioning and locking of the crankshaft and camshafts during timing chain replacement, cylinder head repair and other service operations on the timing system.

The kit includes dedicated camshaft locks, a crankshaft pin, tools for setting the actuator and camshaft position sensor, and tensioner pins.

All items are placed in a practical, profiled carrying case that facilitates storage and transport of the tools.

Kit components and their functions

Tool for setting the camshaft sensor disc

Semi-circular tool with two mounting points. Its profile reproduces the correct position of the disc that works with the camshaft position sensor.

Tool for setting/locking the intake camshaft

Used for correct setting and locking of the intake camshaft actuator during timing work.

Tensioner locking pins

• 4 mm pin for locking the timing chain tensioner,

• 2.5 mm pin for locking the belt tensioner.

Crankshaft locking pin

The largest silver pin with a knurled handle. Used to fix the crankshaft in the required position during timing setting.

Camshaft position sensor setting tool

Enables precise setting of the camshaft position sensor relative to the components of the variable timing control system.

Camshaft locking plate

Black flat bar intended for securing the camshafts. It is used during timing setting to hold the camshafts in the required position.
